Cameron Loader and Craig Rathbone combined early in the new millennium to source, manage and deliver commercial property development opportunities. They formed Finstar Management Limited and have since developed a broad range of quality products across the office, industrial, residential and retail property markets.

Finstar believes in making a difference. Achievements include:

• developing the first Bunnings Megastore in Australasia within a brownfield building;
• reconfiguring a dated South Auckland neighbourhood shopping centre to provide the local community with a much-needed communal facility;
• notably, being Auckland’s most prolific developer of retail convenience centres.

Finstar also recognizes the impact the building industry has on the environment and the need for participants, such as property developers, to provide leadership in sustainable practices. To this end, they continue to ensure new developments meet, where possible, a high level of compliance with environmental standards.
