Finstar contracted to purchase the former Montana Distribution centre in 2002 and then proceeded to introduce Urbus Properties Ltd, a listed Property Fund, to this investment opportunity.
Finstar had already sourced Bunnings as an interested tenant for a DIY Megastore, as the site’s potential for future redevelopment was evident.
Following the anticipated departure of the existing tenant, Urbus appointed Finstar as development manager to oversee negotiations with Bunnings, resource management consent, preliminary design and feasibility analysis.
